AN ESSEX Hospice is looking to recruit more registered nurses as it celebrates International Nurses Day.
Farleigh Hospice provides free, award-winning care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement across the county.
International Nurses Day, held on May 12 every year, celebrates the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

This year, the theme is the future of nursing and it coincides with Farleigh’s campaign to recruit more nurses to work at its hospice building in Broomfield, Chelmsford.
Director of care Ellie Miller said: "Nursing roles offer many benefits including a positive working environment with a high staff-to-patient ratio, various shift patterns to support a good work-life balance as well as further developments.

"We are looking for healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent palliative and end-of-life care."
Farleigh is holding two nurse recruitment open days at its Broomfield building on Tuesday, May 9, and Saturday, May 13.
Potential employees can have a chat with members of the clinical team and take a tour around the hospice.
They are also encouraged to bring along their CV as there is also the opportunity to apply for the roles on the day.
