ICE HOCKEY: Chelmsford Chieftains 17 Haringey Greyhounds 0 WITH the league positions and scoring differentials being 38-2 to the Chieftains in their three previous meetings this season and the Greyhounds having just nine skaters and a stand-in goalie, this game was over before the first puck was dropped.

With Mersea Island rooted at the foot of the table, Chelmsford now find themselves four points adrift of Norwich, who crucially have a plus points difference. With just four games to go, including an away fixture at Norwich, Chelmsford must look to win every game to have any chance of staying up. Unfortunately on this form they are going to find the going very tough.
