TIPTREE Road Runners’ ladies continued their winning ways with another team victory in the 53-12 cross-country league at Hadleigh.

Laura Shewsbridge maintained her top ten form despite a back problem, finishing in eighth place, while Tracy Harrington continued her consistent form in 17th position.

Carolyn Bownes finished in 57th with Tina Clarke in 58th place.

Debra James was 75th wih Rose Haskey-Jones finishing in 76th.

In the men’s race, James Haskey-Jones led the team to third spot, finishing in 32nd, with Mark Brewer taking 67th and Simon Morgan 75th.

Andy Goodson continued his improvement in the league to complete the scoring team in 91st place.

Jamie Fairfull had his highest finish of the season in 104th with Chris White also achieving his best position in 119th followed by Stuart Meddeman in 123rd.

Tiptree’s next three finished in close order – Mark Lawes 127th, Marcus Morley 128th and Matt Davey 129th.

Peter Bouldstridge completed a busy week of marathon and trail racing in 161st, followed by Malcolm Bailey, 168th, Paul Shewbridge, 174th, and Jeff Fairfull, 186th.

Tiptree finished second overall in the day to retain joint second spot in Pool B.

The junior race saw Abigail Morgan in 39th place with Lauren Morley making her debut in 68th.

Sean Ketteridge completed the Leatherhead Winter Tanners 30-mile cross-country race in 4h 26m.
