TIPTREE Road Runner Craig Dawson claimed victory at the Nightmare at the Arms night trail race.

He finished in 41 minutes 49 seconds while club-mates Simon Morgan ran 55m 40s, Anthony Knight 58m 48s, Julian Holder 1h 12m 40s, Wendy Smalley 1h 17m 22s and Dawn Shilling 1h 17m 22s.

Gary Perryman continued his strong season with a personal best of 1h 12m 33s at the Sidcup 10, taking two minutes off his previous mark.

Jonathan Finch improved his personal best for the second week in a row with a run of 20m 18s at the Colchester Parkrun.

Simon Morgan finished in 20m 57s and there were season’s bests for Rob Hadgraft 23m 51s, Abigail Morgan 24m 51s and Dawn Shilling 28m 5s.

At the Maldon Prom Parkrun, James Haskey-Jones took fourth place with a time of 18m 57s, followed by Andrew Conway 20m 3s, Graeme Moon 23m 15s and Peter Bouldstridge 24m 25s.

Rose Haskey-Jones improved her season’s best to 30m 39s and Peter Banks finished in 35m 43s.

Louise Hawkins was first home for the club at the Chelmsford Parkrun with a time of 27m 52s.

Junior Finlay Newman improved his personal best to 28m 47s and Anthony Knight ran 29m 20s.
