RYMAN League division one north leaders Maldon and Tiptree will be hoping their neighbours can do them a big favour on Saturday.
The Park Drive side opened up a seven-point gap at the top of the table with a 3-0 win against Romford in midweek as goals by Jamie Guy, Ollie Berquez and Chris Bryan stretched their unbeaten league run to 14 games.
A win at home against Cheshunt tomorrow could open their advantage even further, especially if neighbours Witham Town can do Maldon a favour by beating second-placed Aveley at Spa Road.
