LEADING THE WAY: the fastest Maldon rider was Adrian Tovey, with a time of 23m 14s.
A NUMBER of hardy Maldon and District Cycling Club members turned out for what proved to be a very cold and quite windy ten-mile time trial, on the E21/10 course.
Harry Paine, of VCUK PH-MAS CT, was the fastest rider on the night, in 23 minutes and 12 seconds.
The fastest Maldon rider was Adrian Tovey, with a time of 23m 14s.
Maldon’s Hamish Hore was the third-fastest on the night, in 24m 2s, while Harry Wood was the club's fastest junior with a respectable time of 27m 29s.
The fastest lady on the night was Rebecca Hammond, from Maldon, in a time of 30m 54s.
