A child has hurt his head and back after slipping on rocks on Southend seafront.
The youngster slipped between a gap between rocks at Three Shells Lagoon.
Paramedics were on scene and treated the child, who was not taken to hospital, and HM Coastuguard Southend was also tasked to attend.
Coastguards advised the parents of other children who were scrambling across the rocks, and drew their attention to the warning signs posted nearby.
