Staff from the Basildon Sorting Office have raised almost £1,000 for charity by holding a special fright night.
The staff donned scary fancy dress costumes and collected £902 for the British Heart Foundation.
The cash was used to repay the donation of a heart defibrillator at the sorting office.
A great night was had by all at the Post Office Club Basildon
Emilios Christodoulou said: “A massive thank you to all who supported the evening.
“We would like to say a special thank you to all the local businesses that donated prizes, especially Sport and Star Autographs who really supported us.
“We would also like to give a special mention to Lisa Walters the third organiser and colleague at the office.”
