Rail passengers are experiencing delays today after a problem on the c2c line between Chafford Hundred and Ockendon.
The line is down due to 'overhead line problems', c2c said.
A rail replacement service has been put on between Chafford Hundred and Ockendon.
c2c said they anticipated normal service by 3pm.
Passengers are being advised to get the Ensign rail replacement bus service to Lakeside and then get on the 370 service to Upminster.
All rail replacement services are 'free' said a spokesman for c2c.
He said: "We're sorry for the delays for passengers travelling to and from Chafford Hundred and Ockendon, while we work with Network Rail to repair damage to the overhead power lines.
"We anticipate normal service will resume by 15.00."
"In the meantime we are running replacement buses between Grays and Lakeside shopping centre, where rail passengers can change onto the 370 bus to Upminster for free. Rail services elsewhere on c2c are running as normal."
