POLICE have released a CCTV image after a man was punched in the face.
Police investigating an assault in Marine Parade, Southend, have released a CCTV image of five men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
A 19-year-old man from the Southend area was in Marine Parade at about 11.55pm on Saturday, February 7 when he was approached by unidentified suspects.
One barged into the victim’s right shoulder, causing him to turn around.
As he turned back to face forwards, another suspect punched him in the mouth.
The victim suffered cuts to his lip and needed stitches.
Police want to speak to the men pictured in the CCTV image.
