Part of a busy road in Braintree has been closed by Essex Police due to collapsed power lines.
East Street has been closed near to Complete Garage Services since around 10am this morning.
Essex Police have confirmed this is due to a collapsed power line, believed to have been pulled down by heavy winds yesterday evening.
Businesses are open as usual and traffic is being redirected.
