HUNDREDS of business owners and entrepreneurs gathered at an event to how they can be successful in a tough economy.
The event, which was ran by Chelmsford City Council allowed business people from across the area to visit and speak with more than 50 trade stands to create new contacts and discuss how they can benefit in the future.
There were 400 entrepreneurs and business owners at the event which was held at Hylands House in London Road, Writtle.
Roy Whitehead, Leader of Chelmsford City Council, said: “I’ve met many members of Chelmsford’s business community today sharing experiences and advice with each other, building relationships and business networks that will benefit the future of the local economy.”
There was a line up of professional speakers who discussed a wide range of topics that the hopeful entrepreneurs would encounter during their time in business, and advice on how they can be successful during difficult economics times.
Guest speakers at this year’s Showcase included Vicky Ford MP, Mark Cullen, Director of Brand and Marketing at EY and Brad Solomon, Founder and MD of The CTG Group.
Ross Fretten, former candidate in this year’s The Apprentice and Managing Director of the dog training app, Kibble was also in attendance to give his own advice to the group.
“The attendees I’ve spoken to seem very happy with the expert speakers, with the exhibition and with the way everything was run, and so am I.
