Students from a Boreham school have raised £4656.88 for the vital work of the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
The students at New Hall School held events to raise the cash for the charity service.
Representatives from the charity were welcomed to New Hall for lunch and told all about the wide range of fundraising activities from throwing a wet sponge at a teacher to cake sales, which took place last academic year, in aid of the students’ chosen charity.
Students and staff were then delighted to present the visitors with a cheque for £4656.88, a fantastic total!
Maria Alexander, Head of Fundraising at Essex & Herts Air Ambulance said. “We are absolutely thrilled to receive such a wonderful donation from the school. Our first helicopter was launched at their, so a lot of history between us. Our sincere thanks go to everyone that made this possible.”
