A DISUSED nursery in a conservation area could be demolished to make way for housing despite a flurry of protests.
More than 30 people have objected to the plans for Great Holland Nurseries, in Church Lane.
They claim the two new homes would be out of character with the conservation area and represent backland development.
Supporters say the scheme will remove an eyesore and help boost the village economy.
The plans are being recommended for approval when they go in front of Tendring Council on Tuesday.
