A nursery school raised nearly £500 to pay for a disabled four-year-old’s special medical treatment.

Generous donors helped the Seesaw Day Nursery in Lancaster Way, Braintree, raise the cash for Brogan Lawrence, of Sunnyside, who has quadraplegic cerebral palsy.

The youngster is currently undergoing Spider therapy- using specialist equipment made of ropes-and therasuit therapy, both of which are helping to train his underdeveloped muscles.

Weekly two-hour sessions cost about £140 and Brogan’s mum has so far raised about £1,000 to pay for them.

Staff and children wore green, which is the colour of the Cerebral Palsy Charity.
