A mum whose son had his head slammed in the corner of a wall claims his school is not doing enough to tackle bullying.
A boy allegedly chased Vinny Holland, 11, before pulling his head back and smashing it into a wall following a playground dispute over a football.
John Bunyan School pupil Vinny suffered a deep cut to his head and a chipped bone just below his eyebrow, and required five stitches at Broomfield Hospital.
Mum Gill Holland says while her son was not well enough to return to school for a week following last Tuesday's attack, the suspected culprit was only excluded for a day.
John Bunyan's executive headteacher Deborah Bailey declined to comment.
