AN AERODROME hosted its very first “Lift Off” event which covered technology across the past century.
Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome hosted the event on Sunday last week, with the Raytheon Roadshow on site with its Flight Simulator and VR experience, and all the workshops to make Rockets, Boomerangs, Gliders and Rocket Cars, plus much more.
The Royal Aeronautical Society, who advance aerospace and aviation across the world also attended, along with the Bloodhound Land Speed Record Project, with Meccano, 3D printing and robotics also on offer during the day.
Guests were also treated to a fantastic air display of model planes from the Dawn Patrol.
