Of all the students who participated, 51 per cent gained A* to C including English and Maths, equal to last year.
A*-C grades were achieved by 70 per cent of all the students who participated and 98 per cent gained at least one GCSE with A* to G grades.
Headteacher David Stephenson, said: “Many students have achieved better than would have been expected and have met or exceeded their target grades."
“The results reflect the amount of work by our students.”
