A wife is offering a small reward for the return of a treasured brooch.
Mary Hodges lost her poppy brooch in Southminster just before Remembrance in mid November.
It had been pinned to her bag and she noticed it had gone after she returned home from shopping.
Mrs Hodges, 63, of St Lawrence, put up posters in the area but no-one has been in touch.
She said: “My husband Stuart served in the Royal Signals for 32 years and he gave me this brooch several years ago as a present to remind me those times.
“I am very sad to have lost it and although we have searched everywhere it is not possible to buy another the same to replace it."
If you have found the brooch, call the newsroom on 01376 334339 or email nina.morgan@nqe.com
