The manager of an indoor bowls club has slammed the vandals responsible for causing thousands of pounds of damage.

Vandals have smashed signs, shot at CCTV, damaged cars, raced around the car park and even tried to set fire to an air conditioning unit at the Jacks Centre, in Burnham Road, Latchingdon, in recent months.

The club has more than 600 full-time members and is an important part of the local community. Centre manager Alicia Thrumble said: “It’s been absolutely terrible.

“The members are really upset as it’s their club and it’s just horrible when something is important to you to see it damaged so mindlessly."
