Residents claim they still have unanswered questions after a public exhibition was held about plans for 1,375 new homes.

A garden suburb, off Limebrook Way, Maldon, is being proposed in Maldon District Council’s draft Local Development Plan, which is due to go before a planning inspector later this year.

Developers and district council representatives were on hand to answer questions at West Maldon Community Centre, in Sunbury Way, on Saturday.

Kath Vale, of Longship Way, who started the Say No To Maldon Housing Development group on Facebook, said: “It was good that they were doing it, but it doesn’t seem to make sense just to consult on this part of the development in isolation.”

Of course there will be unanswered questions - that's what it's about. A no news story.

If the only complaint is someone wanted to know more then well done the developers - I'm very tired of the paranoia driven news of this site.

Well done to all thoes involved in fighting the underhanded methods used by the developers and Disctrict council to green light these future slums.
