South Woodham Ferrers: Cyclist dies in road smash
A cyclist has died following a collision this morning in South Woodham Ferrers.
It will be closed until around 11am.
Police were called to the scene at 4.14am following reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist at the roundabout junction of Burnham Road, Ferrers Road and Willow Grove.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and police are continuing their investigations.
The road was closed until 11am, causing huge traffic delays, while police carried out their investigations.
