There was plenty of eggs-citement in the district over the weekend as children and families searched and found hidden Easter treats.
Some 182 children looked high and low for eggs and messages planted in Maldon’s Promenade Park, in the first Easter egg hunt organised by the Maldon Carnival Association.
More than 200 eggs were donated by local businesses Morrisons, in Maldon, and Asda, in Heybridge.
