Firefighters freed five people trapped in a minibus following a collision with a car.

Two crews from Burnham were called to Highlands Rise, Mayland, just before 10.20am today.

The trapped people were freed by 11.25am.

An ambulance service spokesman said two with minor injuries were taken to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, as a precautionary measure.

I am not surprised at this, given the way the driver pulled out dangerously infront of me on Tuesday evening during heavy rainfall.
