Creative Alex Cole was chuffed when he recently became one of 10 winners in a national music video competition, which attracted 500 entries.
The Plume School sixth former’s sad, yet comical film, follows the story of a freshly-dumped robot, who tries to track down his girlfriend in Maldon.
The daft footage, which captured the judges’ imagination, was produced to the soundtrack, Spector’s What You Wanted and now has nearly 20,000 hits on You Tube.
