TWO teenagers have been charged with a string of offences in Clacton town centre.
A 14-year-old and 13-year-old were charged with a number of offences on Saturday evening following an investigation by the Community Policing Team.
The pair were released with strict bail conditions including not to enter the town centre unless in company with an adult and not to associate with each other.
They will appear at Chelmsford Youth Court on Monday, December 22.
Inspector Darren Deex, of the Tendring Community Policing Team, said: "We are proactively dealing with a group of youths committing anti-social behaviour in the town centre and this is another step towards tackling the problem.
"My Team are absolutely committed to dealing with anti-social behaviour and crime across Tendring.
"We will do our best to prosecute those committing offences and will use all of our available powers to ensure our communities can go about their lives free from harm and abuse.
"The work does not stop here; we are continuing our investigations into a number of other offences and I would urge the public to assist us with this."
