Ben's Buddies who are raising money for research
A TEAM of fundraisers is to put on a test of grey matter to raise funds for a testing cycle ride.
Ben's Buddies are riding 1,000 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats in ten days to help raise vital funds and awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Their inspiration is Colchester teenager Ben Culhane who has the muscle wasting condition.
To raise funds for the challenge, the buddies are holding a quiz night at Benedict's School in Colchester.
The event is being staged on November 15 starting at 7pm and costs £5 per team member with up to six members in a team.
