PANTOMIME time is here again!
The Dengie Amateur Music Group is performing its latest panto, Mother Goose by John Morley, on Thursday January 29 to Saturday January 31.
Performances are at 7.30pm, with a matinee show on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
This year’s venue will again be the Dengie Village Hall in Manor Road, Dengie.
Pam Burton, hon secretary of the group, said Tom Cooper is again taking on the role of producer.
Alfie Burton has been busy making scenery along with Ed Lucas and Mick Ives.
Sue Spiers has been spending time painting scenery over the festive period, including golden palaces, magic waterfalls and demon rocket ranges.
The large cast of both youngsters and adults include Peter May, who is playing the dame and Andrew Burnett, who is preparing to be booed and hissed as the “baddie” demon.
Tickets are available from Coopers Village Store in South Street, Tillingham, by calling 01621 778333.
They are priced at £4 for the Thursday show and £5 for all other performances.
