POLICE attended a Welcome Hub event in Wickham Bishops to offer advice and support to residents.

The event, which was organised by the Maldon and District Community Voluntary Service, took place last week.

The Welcome Hubs are monthly drop-in information sessions taking place across the district.

All are welcome to attend and learn about support and activities available in their community.

Officers also visited Heybridge to patrol the area, provide a high-visibility presence and discuss any concerns with the parish council.
