A JEWELLERS in Maldon High Street has shut its doors to move on to new premises.
Anvil and Ivy Jewellery had been based at 16 High Street.
The building has now been vacated.
A note on the now empty unit explains the business has moved to Purleigh.
The note reads: "After nearly five years on Maldon High Street, it is now time for a change.
"Anvil and Ivy will be moving to a larger rural studio space just down the road in Purleigh.
"Consultations and collections can continue as normal, on an appointment only basis."
The note continues by saying customers can continue to shop online via the website or send an email to discuss bespoke requirements for their designs.
"I want to thank the people of Maldon for supporting my little shop over the years and I am looking forward to welcoming you at the new studio space", it added.
