A BOOK shop in Maldon will be celebrating the expansion of their business with help from an author.
The Maldon and Burnham Standard reported Maldon Books, in High Street, would be expanding into the neighbouring building.
With the shop already occupying 23 Maldon High Street, it is adding vinyl records to their offering with the addition of number 21.
The official opening of the new record store will be taking place on Saturday, February 17.
Nick Butterworth, author of the Percy the Park Keeper series, will be in attendance and cutting the ribbon at 10am.
Bosses at Maldon Books said there will be a book signing in the newly refurbished children’s section afterwards.
