A POPULAR fireworks show is all set for this year's event with some added extras for the crowds to enjoy.
The Maldon Fireworks is at Maldon Promenade Park on Saturday, November 4.
The event kicks off at 5.30pm with a new hour of cool down music from John Leech after the fireworks to allow time to enjoy food and drink from local businesses stalls and to avoid the car park rush.
There will be entertainment on the day including music, a fire-eating display from Joel Hicks and a big bonfire.
Glowsticks at the Maldon Fireworks will be sponsored by Maldon company TFP Financial Planning this year.
Chairman of the Rotary Organising Committee, Brian Farrington said, “It makes a huge difference to Rotary fundraising to cover some of the substantial costs involved with putting on an event like this.
“The event offers families a wonderful night out and we are also very grateful to be joined by Matt Mackay and soul legend John Leech from BBC Essex to enable us to provide an incredible music backdrop to the evening.”
“Without companies like TFP, as well as other local names including Heating Oil Today and Borough Flooring, our ticket supporters, it would be impossible to keep ticket costs low whilst raising funds for local Essex charities and Rotary activities.”
Dan Haylett, Director at TFP Financial Planning said: “We are delighted to be supporting the brilliant Maldon Fireworks on 4th November.
“Having been to a number of them over the years, it’s a wonderful spectacle and fun family evening out.
“We have been very successful to date and are recognised by Citywire as one the Top 100 financial planning companies in the UK.
“We are based on the High Street in Maldon and see working on and supporting local community events as key to our continued growth plans.
“Working with Maldon Fireworks is a great opportunity to get involved locally, support a wonderful event, as well as huge fun for our staff and clients.
“We also hope to be able to work with the team at the Maldon Mud Race in 2024 and are excited to raise awareness of our award-winning services via these prestigious community events.”
Tickets are going quickly and are only available online at maldonfireworks.co.uk.
No tickets are available at the gate so tickets must be pre-purchased online.
