A POPULAR annual air show featuring huge model planes is set to reach for the skies.
The Large Model Air Show is taking place this weekend at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome.
There will be model flying displays by warbirds from the Edwardian times to the present day.
A spokesman for the event said: “It's a fantastic opportunity to see some of the most entertaining large model aircraft flying this year.
"The skies above Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome are used to wonderful aircraft - but they are usually controlled from the cockpit.
"Join us at this wonderful event to see a multitude of model flyers - some the size of a car - take to the skies to entertain.”
The event is on Saturday, September 16, from 10am to 4pm.
