A UNIQUE wellness festival has been hailed a success for its second year.
UFest returned to Maldon's Promenade Park for the second time at the weekend.
The free festival aims to “celebrate everything that makes life worth living” and has a focus on health, well-being and fun.
Performers from the Big Sing and singer John Pierce provided entertainment at the event.
There was a range of activities, stalls and events for visitors to get involved with.
UFest teamed up with organisations from across the public, private and voluntary sectors, including Popcorn Community, Mid Essex Talking Therapies, Carers First, REMAP, Maldon Books, Heybridge Parish Council, the Moat Foundation, Reach Out FM, Maldon Prom Parkrun, Muay Fitness and more.
The event is funded by the National Lottery, Magnox and Livewell.
Maldon District Council chairman Kevin Lagan said: "I just wanted to say an enormous 'thank you' to every single person who was involved in organising and supporting our UFest community festival.
"The joy that it brought to so many visitors was very evident.
“It showed our beautiful prom at its best and certainly gave many visitors information and support that can help point them in the right direction for both physical and psychological well-being.
“My sincere thanks to all who worked so hard to make the event the success it was, and to everyone who came along and supported UFest this year”.
