GREEN-FINGERED villagers are gearing up for their annual flower show.

Tillingham's West Field will come alive with a vibrant celebration of nature and community on Saturday, July 22, at 2 pm.

Visitors can indulge in a Pimms and Prosecco tent, enjoy drinks from a horsebox bar, and savour tasty treats from an ice cream van, barbecue and hog roast.

The festivities will kick off with a grand parade departing from the Dengie Straight at 1pm, followed by the flower show in the West Field.

On Friday, July 21, music lovers will be able to enjoy live performances by Gunrunner on the Green, accompanied by a superheroes fancy dress parade and a raffle.

The flower show will offer a wide array of attractions and activities to keep everyone entertained.

There will be craft stalls bursting with locally made treasures, bouncy castles for children, and lively dance displays.

Residents will also be able to admire vintage tractors, cars and motorbikes.
