A PERFORMING arts teacher is launching a new children’s fitness class at a health club in Maldon.
Sarah Shepherd, from Maldon, is preparing to return home with her new theatrical fitness classes.
The mum of two hopes to improve children’s health and happiness with her mood-boosting workout classes for pre-schoolers, infants, juniors and seniors at Park Drive Health Club.
A free taster session will be on Sunday, September 11 and classes will run in six weekly half term blocks.
Sarah, who has 22 years of experience, said: “As a Mum of two myself, I am passionate about motivating our children to get up and get involved in regular physical activity, never more so than since the pandemic.

“The benefits to both their physical and mental health are undeniable.
“Thrive At Park Drive is the culmination of all my experience as both a teacher and a parent.
“Family life is so hectic and the juggle is real. I really hope Thrive at Park Drive will be the highlight of everyone’s week.
“I have such fond memories of Sunday visits to Park Drive as a child with my family.
“It means so much to me to be back here creating those wholesome experiences for a new generation.”
