AN Essex MP opened an annual fete this year.
Witham MP Priti Patel opened the annual Tolleshunt D'Arcy village fete earlier this month.
The fete, which took place at the Recreation Ground on June 2, had stalls and community groups including the Royal British Legion.
Mrs Patel said: "I was delighted to open the wonderful fete.
“The community in the village came together to make the fete a success and many people came from the village and surrounding areas to celebrate the start of summer.
“It was an enjoyable day with great food, a dog show and the Royal British Legion."
"I congratulate the organisers for putting on a wonderful afternoon of fun for the whole family."
