RUNNERS braved the heat to take part in Burnham’s annual 10km run on Sunday.
The Burnham 10k sees runners depart from Riverside Park, proceeding north through to town, across east along Marsh Road, before turning south to travel through the Dengie and back west along the edge of the River Crouch to finish at the park.
The race sees up to 500 people take part. Andrew Low finished fastest at 36 minutes 41 seconds, and Kate Murrell of the Tri-Anglia Triathlon Club the fastest woman at 42 minutes 41 seconds.
