THE snow didn’t stop an aerodrome’s first ever Father Christmas event at the weekend.
Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome held their first festive event on Sunday with children arriving to make snow globes, decorate gingerbread and meet the big man Father Christmas himself.
The blanket of snow at the aerodrome allowed for lots of snowball fights and snowman building, with fun being had by all.
The Mess café offered festive treats and a warm retreat from the chills of the day.
Further festive events are still taking place at the aerodrome on December 16, 17 and 23.
