A WOMEN'S institute has raised more than £250 for charity at a coffee morning.
The Burnham WI held a coffee morning at the United Reformed Church on Station Road on Saturday in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support as part of a nationwide event to raise funds for the charity.
Lorraine Avery, of the WI, said: "There was lovely homemade cake which was plentiful and delicious, we raised a total of £262.93 with more than 70 people attending.
"Well done everyone involved."
