HEYBRIDGE Primary School PTFA are hosting their annual summer fete.
The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) will be holding the event on Saturday, July 1.
The event was revived three years ago, and plans are underway to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever, on what is one of the major dates of the fundraising group’s calendar.
Last year’s event raised more than £3,000 for the school, and this year will feature live music for the first time, with popular local band ‘6 String Makeover’ taking to the stage.
Sharon Hopkins, chairman of the PTFA, said: “I just want everybody to have a really food fun day.
“We are really excited about what we have planned this year. We have lots of new attractions as well as the favourites returning from previous years.”
Raffle tickets are available from the school, in Rowan Drive, or on the day itself, and entrance is free.
The event will run between 11am and 3pm on the school field.
