AN obsessed man has been jailed after repeatedly ignoring court orders to stay away from his former partner.

Bradley Rosser admitted breaching a non-molestation order again when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.

Rosser, 23, of Morris Avenue, Jaywick, committed the offence between December and February in Essex Avenue, Jaywick.

Tamzin Sharp, prosecuting, said: “The non-molestation order came into use because he was threatening violence.

“He keeps going back, shouting through the letterbox, waiting opposite in an alley way.”

Rosser also admitted breaching a community order.

Deputy District Judge Roderick Hine decided Rosser, who has a tattoo of the victim’s name on his neck, had ignored the court for the last time.

He said: “You were given a community order in November for breaching the non-molestation order no doubt ordered by the court to keep you away from the lady concerned.

“On October 30 you had been shouting through the letterbox and knocking on the door. You obviously did not take any notice of the community order.

“You were given 14 appointments and attended one. You said you had medical evidence but provided none.

“You then broke the order order on December 4, December 8, December 27 and February 1.

"You obviously think you can take a cavalier attitude to the court. That the court is going to be treated with contempt. The court is biting back today.”

Rosser was re-sentenced for the October breach to four weeks in jail and another four weeks for the latest breaches.

When he is released the non-molestation order will remain in place.
