MALDON'S Blackwater Leisure Centre has been official reopened after £1.5million improvements.
Maldon District Council invested the money to enable extensive refurbishment and improvements to the centre in Park Drive, Maldon.
These include:
• Refurbishment of the swimming pool, new changing rooms & toilets
• New flume ride, new sauna, new steam room
• New café
• New larger fitness suite
• New dance & fitness suite
The centre was reopened by Peter Elliott, Chairman of Maldon District Council, and Ron Pratt, the Chairman of the District Council’s Community Services Committee, on Monday night.
