A church is looking to beat the XFactor to Christmas Number One.

Adults, toddlers and youngsters aged from seven to 11 years old from Burnham United Reformed Church, in Station Road, Burnham, recorded Calypso Carol on December 2.

Those taking part varied in age from five months to one person in their 80s.

It was recorded by The Reverend Jon Morgan of the church, who was a professional musician before becoming a minister, performing with stars such as Jackson Browne and Peter Gabriel.
