A single storey building was ablaze earlier this afternoon in Hall Road, Southminster.
The fire began at 1pm and four fire engines, from Burnham, South Woodham, Tillingham and Maldon attended.
Flames left 30% of the building alight and the interior completely smoke logged.
Firefighters used a main jet, a hose jet and a ground monitor, an unmanned jet, to tackle the flames.
Acetylne cylinders were involved in the fire and crews spent time cooling the tanks as well as fighting the flames.
