Heybridge flat arsonist Daniel Hilton pleads guilty in court

A man has admitted setting fire to his flat and causing £100,000 worth of damage.

This morning, Chelmsford Crown Court heard how Daniel Hilton assaulted his partner, damaged her car and then torched his flat in Wood Road, Heybridge, on June 15.

Hilton, 29, admitted the three charges and court was adjourned for pyschiatric and pre-sentence reports to be carried out.
