Maldon: Cadet leader wins award for "sterling" work
A modest Maldon sea cadet leader has gained recognition for his “sterling” work with young people.
Chief Petty Officer Nick Temme received the Mayor of Maldon’s Award for Services to the Community after building up a thriving sea cadet unit in Promenade Park.
He was nominated by unit chairman Barbara Keeble for his work in the sea cadets over the past 17 years.
