COLCHESTER United played out a 1-1 draw at Barrow, on Saturday afternoon.
Noah Chilvers' magnificent strike gave the U's the lead, at the Progression Solicitors Stadium.
But Mike Jones' long-range rocket earned the Bluebirds a share of the spoils, in a competitive League Two affair.
Here's the Gazette player ratings, following a hard-earned point on the road for the U's.
DEAN GERKEN 7
Had no chance for Barrow’s goal and showed good handling throughout
MILES WELCH-HAYES 7
Added weight to the U’s attack from right back but will be disappointed he didn’t score with a last-gasp header that was deflected over. Booked
TOMMY SMITH 8
U’s stand-in skipper seemed to relish his battle with Quigley and performed well again. Booked
TOM EASTMAN 8
U’s man of the match. Was unflappable at the back and made a key block to deny Hardcastle late on
COHEN BRAMALL 7
Solid display; saw his free-kick saved well by keeper Dixon in the second half
NOAH CHILVERS 8
Scored with a magnificent long-range strike; U’s youngster is growing in stature
BEN STEVENSON 8
Hardly put a foot wrong in midfield and was completely unflappable throughout
COURTNEY SENIOR 7
Showed glimpses of his trickery and skill before being replaced on the hour
KWAME POKU 7
Started off in a central role where he was influential; made vital block that led to Chilvers' fine strike
CALLUM HARRIOTT 7
Gave the Barrow defence plenty to think about on his return to the side
JEVANI BROWN 7
Led the line well for an hour before dropping back into a number ten role after Norris was brought on
