RUSSELL Malton is heading back to Heybridge Swifts.
The Colchester United striker, who plundered seven goals in 12 games during his previous loan spell, will spend the next five weeks at Scraley Road.
And the U’s academy product, who has since spent a month at Billericay Town, will be available for Saturday’s match at Waltham Forest.
Boss Wayne Bond told the Standard: “Russell did a fantastic job when he was here before.
“He scored goals, made a real impact and got better and better with every game.
“His attitude is spot on, as you’d expect from a first-year professional footballer, and he obviously feels he benefited from his previous spell with us.
“Hopefully we can now help each other out in the next few weeks.”
