MALDON & Tiptree have parted company with first-team manager Mark Hawkes following today’s 3-2 home defeat to Carshalton Athletic.
The Jammers announced the departures of their management team in a club statement after a dramatic Isthmian League Premier Division loss at Park Drive, where the visitors recovered from two goals down to claim all three points.
Maldon had made a rapid start, moving 2-0 ahead inside the opening four minutes, but Carshalton hit back after the interval.

Rob Howard pulled one back on 57 minutes before William Aksel Bratvedt struck twice, including an 88th-minute winner.
In a statement, the club said: “Maldon & Tiptree can confirm that we have today parted ways with our management team.
"The new ownership team would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the team for their commitment to the club, particularly during what has been a challenging period behind the scenes.

"We thank them for all they have done for Maldon & Tiptree and wish them every success in the future.
"We can confirm Ugo Udoji will be interim manager until the club appoints a permanent successor.
Today's result was particularly painful for Maldon, who had appeared in control after racing into an early two-goal advantage, only for Carshalton to complete a late turnaround.
